A little about us
Woodstown Ice & Coal is a hardware store, animal feed distributor, and certified U-Haul dealer located right off of Rt. 40 in the heart of Salem County, South Jersey. Inside the store, we have a wide selection of paint, tools, automotive, electric, plumbing, cleaning, and garden/lawn supplies. In addition our four warehouses contain over 70 horse feed varieties (Purina, Triple Crown, Blue Seal, Southern States, Buckeye, Tribute, and more), as well as various cow, goat, bird, dog, cat, fish, and chicken feeds. And yes, we have bags of anthracite nut, rice, pea, and blacksmithing coal as well. Come visit us any of the seven days a week and find out what sets us apart from your typical box-store retailer.

Bringing chicks home soon? Here are 5 quick tips to know before they arrive:
1️⃣ Set up your brooder first: Warm, dry, draft-free and ready to go before chicks come home.
2️⃣ Get the temperature right: Start around 95°F and lower it 5° each week.
3️⃣ Have fresh water ready: Show each chick where it is as soon as they arrive.
4️⃣ Choose a quality starter feed: A complete chick starter gives them the nutrition they need to grow strong.
5️⃣ Give them space (but not too much!): Enough room to move comfortably without getting chilled.
A little prep goes a long way in raising happy, healthy chicks!
